Dear Friends, Sponsors, Contributors, Contestants and Volunteers,
The 6th Annual Southern Hot Wing Festival will take place from 11am to 6 pm, Saturday, April 26, 2008. With the endorsement of the South Main Association, Center City Commission, Downtown Neighborhood Association, and the Memphis Farmer’s Market, the event will be held on South Main between G. E. Patterson and St. Paul Street, in downtown Memphis. (Rain date, Sunday, April 27)
Admission is $ 1.00 per patron, or free with donation of a canned food item per patron (for pantry at the Ronald McDonald House). Cooking teams will be competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place titles for Best Hot Wing, and Best Presentation / Exhibition.
Cash prizes and trophies to be determined by our celebrity and professional judges, a fabulous Silent Auction will be held with items donated from local contributors, and a great line up of bands to entertain throughout the day.
Proceeds from the 6th Annual Southern Hot Wing Festival will benefit Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, a home-away-from-home for the children and their families of St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
